Good morning friends! This morning, will you pray for Shelby, her family ,and all involved in her care? At 9:30. she is having her cleft palate repair. We met Shelby and her family at First Friday and they are just really special.
A lot of people are discouraged, frustrated, and losing hope. I pray that we will continue to encourage each other and use the wait to accomplish so many things. Pray for our spouses. Most of my blogging adoptive friends are female and most of us are involved in yahoo groups and stuff like that. I pray our spouses will stay encouraged and that our marriages will only get better during this time!
I am thankful that as our first year of waiting come to end , that its gone by so fast. Those of you who read this and/or have a blog have really helped our wait.
I am thankful for First Fridays and what a support system it is.
I am thankful I got to see Sheridan yesterday!
I am thankful for the children who have come home this year that I have gotten to know.
I am thankful that families saw their babies faces for the first time last week.

Wonderful reasons to pray and meditate.
Hi Amy
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I hope you'll come again...you're always welcome.
I've enjoyed my visit here tonight. I stopped and said a prayer for a successful surgery.
Hugs!

So nice to hear you being thankful to God. With that kind of a good attitude, I'm sure the rest of your wait will sail by too!

So glad you are still staying so positive. I think you offer so much to those other families waiting with you. Blessings
Amy, Not sure if you remember me, but we've met at First Friday. I didn't make it last week, either, but I'm sure I'll see you there again soon. I can't believe you're coming to the one year point since your lid. You amaze me with your positive attitude regarding this difficult wait. I'll keep you and all those who wait in my prayers....
