and.....

Well, not much more to report except our Socia Worker emailed us our homestudy but I think I told you that. Michael was able to help a customer who was meeting with a social worker for a post placement visit and they had used our agency. I am very comfortable and trust they will do everything to the best of their ability.
I have met a few really neat people through this blog and am keeping up with dozens of other stories.
I am still getting some odd questions but its usually from well meaning people.
Tomorrow evening Michael and I will get to attend the function we went to back in September where there will be dozens of families who are also waiting and we will also meet some new babies who are now with their forever families. We are both quite excited about this.

I just want to be logged in by this summer! Ugh!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Being that you are in GA. maybe I will meet you at one of the Atlanta Adopters get togethers.

I'm an adoptive mom, although domestically. It's a long hard process (took us over 10 years with all the problems we went through and moves and other assorted stuff), but well worth it. My son is the light of our lives, even if he will be only 7 when I'm eligible for AARP!!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I'm an Amy too in Colorado with the same adoption agency, CCAI. I love the title of your blog. The video that goes with this Steven Curtis Chapman song makes me cry every time I see it! This process takes a lot of patience to get through all of the waiting, but eventually you will bring your daughter home. In the meantime have fun with picking names and decorating her nursery!

Just popping in to say I love the name of your blog and to offer encouragement...

It seems to me that we can never give up longing and wishing while we are alive. There are certain things we feel to be beautiful and good, and we must hunger for them.
~~George Eliot

Best of luck.
