Names and such

Now that we have chosen the name, there are more questions. How should we spell it? Do we need a middle name or possible use part of her Chinese name?
What do you think?
Lynn Marie or Lynnmarie or Lynmarie or Lyn Marie

Do we do an American name or Chinese name? Mind you, we have plenty of time to think of this but I think name idea posts are fun..
She will be called Lynn Marie and I am just loving it..It does seem classy and when I think of her name, I think of the color burgundy. Isn't that odd?

Hope all of you are doing well and let me just say, bloglines is saving me a ton of time and good news from the CCAA is that May 2006 is out of the review room. Woohoo!!!!

I love Lynnmarie. If you spell it as 2 names instead of 1, people may be tempted to call her Lynn. Are you okay with that? If not, Lynnmarie might keep people from doing that. We used our daughter's Chinese name for her middle name. I always think it's nice if you are able to keep this piece of her past. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for asking!

I like Lynn Marie. We choose an "American" middle name, but we'll add our daughter's Chinese name as her middle name (when the time comes).

I'll be odd man out. I like LynnMarie. I have a friend (who is in her early 60's) whose name is RoseMarie. She never has had a problem with people calling her one or the other. It's simply her name. She writes her name all together and capitalizes the R and the M.

See you at dinner tomorrow.

I like Lyn Marie the best! I love when traditional names are spelled a little differently!

I like Lynn Marie...when you handwrite Lynnmarie---the n's and m get kind of all smooshed in together and hard to read--try it.

Marie is a huge family name for us! I can completely see the color "wine" with it as that is one of my favorite colors! Good choice. So classy!

Lynn Marie, because I like both names and then she could use either as a nickname and its just a classic name! Very pretty though anyway you use it!

Beautiful name! I hope you aren't offended when I tell you that 6 years ago I named my new beagle puppy Grace Lynn Marie! So obviously I think the name is awesome no matter how you spell it! =)
