home sweet home

We are home. Arrived home around 1am on Sunday morning. Miss thing is on China time. Sooo not sure what to do about that. She is beautiful and awesome! Amys mom and dad got to visit for a few hours today and have to head back tomorrow morning..More pics and blogs to come.

Saturday we had several hours to spend in Los Angelas before our flight left so Michael's cousin picked us up and drove us around, showing us Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills and we got to see the Pretty Woman Hotel!!

Reality is here. Lots to do. Lots to experience.. Crazy times. For those in Atlanta, we cant wait for her to meet all of you and plan on having a meet and great at a local restaurant soon. Paparazzi welcome! Haha!

To me the most-entertaining part of homecoming happened late this morning. We were getting ready to go to the hotel to see Amy's parents. I had gotten out of the shower and heard noise outside, so I peaked through the blinds and saw our next door neighbor Holly and her 2 kids. I slid a hand through the blinds and tapped on the window. Holly heard it, looked and saw just my waving hand and she started jumping for joy out in the middle of the street!

Welcome home guys! Glad you made it safely! Hope the jet lag dimishes quickly for you all! Lots of time out in the sun during the day! I think we are all nearly through it now. Lilly even only got up once last night and this is the latest she has slept in the morning so far. I am hopeful!

Enjoy introducing Lynn Marie to Atlanta and to her family and friends! Looking forward to watching her grow in your awesome care.

congrats- So glad you are safely home. Now the Real fun begins- getting your Days and Nights straight. Sunshine helps the most- so get outside during the day for fresh air several times. At night keep most of the lights off- even if she is up, do not turn on many lights.

The best thing to overcome the jet lag is to be outside as much as possible. Sun and fresh air should help to adjust your bodies faster but it might still take a week to keep easing the bed time later and later. Good luck!
