Good news to hear. I just figured this might happen. The quotation is from Lewis Grizzard and I have always found that it was right on as we face losing a pet and finding a new one.

I pray every day for the dog that will fill our Tessie's space, but it hasn't happened yet.
It isn't time yet. I don't know when that time will be, but I know I will recognize it when it comes.

I don't know if I will get another pet once Charlie is gone. I've had him 16 1/2 years. He's gotten pretty expensive in his elder years!! Love him to pieces, but when his time comes, there are a lot more things I can do with the $1,000 per year I currently spend on his medical needs.
