weekly outings

Last week I had a whole day off so I went and ran some errands, including Tadpoles, which I told you about earlier. We are on a budget and I swore I would not buy anything but after returning stones to Michael's, I had an extra 6$. With that in mind, I just looked. Check out these oh so soft jammies! Cute, huh

Now skip to yesterday and no I did not buy anything but found good stuff for secret pal items. It started by hitting Northpoint mall just for a walk and some window shopping. i made sure I hit Pottery Barn kids (I now know why people love it and cant wait to hit the outlet again), Gymboree, JCPennys and the Children's Place and oh yeah the Disney Store. Halloween costumes are out and there are some very creative ones. I did see a Gollum (sp?) costume. I don't think LynnMarie will be wearing them but I was able to daydream a bit. Then I headed over to Babies R Us which always makes me smile. There are some new nursery designs that are very very pretty and in a year or so we can start thinking of things. I have enjoyed reading blogs that have a lot of organizing ideas. This is one area I greatly need to improve on before we bring LynnMarie home. Actually, there are several things to work on which makes this wait a benefit for us

Cute! I have been hard at work organizing and streamlining stuff at home so we'll have our house in order by referral time. I'll try to remember to post good tips.

That's my problem too..I enjoy READING about organizing. The actual doing, that's another story.

I bought some things for Maggie's baby shower that will be on my blog on Sept. 15th. I also cheat a little when I get my Secret Buddy get and get something matching for my Sophia too. Slowly but surely I am getting a supply of girl clothes.

cute cute jammies! That's one thing I so far haven't bought too many of. Hm, must go shopping!
Lynn Marie is going to have some great clothes, and already has an awesome book collection!

Praying for everyone on Monday's prayer list. Let there be peace, no pain, resolution and gentle hugs to all.

Love,

I am really good with making lists to get organized, it's the execution of the list that presents a problem.

Too cute jammies!!!

You can NEVER have too many jammies. I am a devout pajamaist.

Hi Amy...it is so hard not to buy! I know when we were waiting for our referral for Francesca...I went crazy with buying "everything" for her! Now poor Sofia...doesn't need a thing! (not to say that I don't shop for her, but I only buy items that I truly love and will be special just for her).
