Question for those who have been there done that! I would love to start making LynnMarie's quilt scrapbook but I am not creative, what do you guys suggest?
Oh Amy I have to admit that I have not even started Franceskas quilt! It is all in a plastic box and it is just so darn intimidating to me!!!! Good luck with that.
I am an avid scrapbooker, but I chose to keep the scrapbook for the quilt simple so I could showcase each piece of beautiful fabric. You can see some pictures here:
I am looking for someone to sew Sophia's quilt. Her scrapbook has a photo of the family who sent the square if I have one and their wish and then in most of them, I cut the piece of fabric into a cute shape that went with the pattern.
No advice here- I just started sewing my quilt today. For the scrapbook - I have done some pages, but haven't found a book yet...I am planning to be fairly simple, wishes and photos if I have them...
A lot of our wishes were written on both sides of a card. This made things difficult in terms of a scrapbook. The husband and I decided to instead place them all in a wooden chest.
I had a friend cover a 12 x 12 scrapbook with fabric from quilt squares I received (the ones that I got after we sewed the quilt, the ones that weren't 100% cotton, and leftovers from the backing). The first page was Martina's referral picture. Then I arranged them by how we knew them: Jon & me, my family, his family, friends, work friends, church friends, parents' friends, and cyberfriends. At the end I have a page w/ a few pictures of us putting the quilt together.
