Need an idea

Hey guys, I'm looking for ways to decorate containers to put around the house for spare change. Anyone have a creative way to decorate? Right now, we are using laundry detergent containers

Hi. You could get the oatmeal containers and decoupage pictures of China or things like that.

I use a clear, square vase that is about 4"x4" but I like the decoupaged oatmeal container idea.

Someone above mentioned it as well, but before we had kids, I have an oatmeal box that I decoupaged with family pictures. Now, all our spare change goes into our girls' banks, which of course are ladybugs!

Hi Amy,

Just popping in to say hello and congrats on having your paperchasing done! My hubby and I have been LID for 13 months now and we're starting our mini-paperchase to get our homestudy and I-171H updated.

You are almost "officially" waiting now!

We use a large barrel like pretzel holder we got at Sam's Club. Its clear plastic, but you could decorate it. Or, use plastic rubbermaid cereal holders. They have lids so you wouldn't have to cut anything. Plus, they would be easy to carry to the bank!

the reason we use detergent jars is because its hard to get the money out..I tend to steal from the jar when needed. I am looking for a way to decorate, material or stickers or something

There are beautiful scrapbook papers out there you could decoupage on to the detergent bottles. Then jazz it up with rubber stamping and scrapbooking embellishments.
