(((Oh Amy))), I have been following along with your story for several months and praying that God would allow you to have an LID before May 1. My DH and I are in process for Russia, but had considered China as well. When I started reading you, I was over the 40% bmi too, and so is hubby (I've lost some weight and am under 40%now praise God!). But anyhow, I can sooooo understand where you're coming from.
Praise be to God that you're on your way with your LID!!!!!!!

Hi Amy,
CONGRATS on your LID! I remember how happy I was when we finally had a date.
I know you have a long road ahead, but take full advantage of it. This past 14+ months since our LID has been both the hardest and best time of my life. The waiting is difficult, but I've met SO many awesome women and we have expanded our cirle of friends. It's been really great.
