Monday Meditations

Good morning! Its Monday again!

First thing, yesterday Michael and Kim had their Gotcha Day with Sheridan! Hoping to see pics soon! Pray that they have a smooth adjustment!

We had one family from our April LID yahoo group pull her dossier from China, they just could not deal with the wait. Please pray for that family as I know they are grieving.

1)Pray for our children in China that they will be a blessing to all who come into contact with them
2)Pray for our spouses. As wives, we have found so much support and are so into all this adoption stuff. Sometimes, I will like the daddies are left out
3)Pray for our hearts. Each referral time is wonderful but it also reminds us of the wait!!!! Pray that there are more paper ready babies
4)Pray CJ and Donna and their children. They will be bringing Shelby home sometime this fall!

Do you have any specific prayer requests!! Once again, thank you for all your support!

I'm a little down with the referral wait myself, but I have been mentally trying to work through it! ;)

Oh no! I hadn't heard anyone from our group pulled- I'm so sorry to hear that. I haven't checkd our board in a few days, I'll do that tonight when I get home from work.

Definitely will be praying for them!

HOLY POOP... SHELBY????? I saw the comment above. Man... I need to call her. She went SO above and beyond with the gifts when she sent out her quilt squares... and she's like the funniest person on the planet... dang it.

I hope they look into other countries.

Joining you in pray. Can't wait to see pictures of Sheridan. Hope you had a good weekend. (We weren't at First Friday either.)

Beautiful post - I agree, the "daddies" DO feel left out sometimes but most men are so stoic (I am SEVERELY overgeneralizing, I know) and just keep everything inside. Maybe instead of blogging, like us, they need a LID Date Golf Date? :)

what a sweet journey...

one of our bestfriends adopted from China and their daughter is beautiful... when they got to her...someone put a bow on her head where she had a sore, because they were afraid they wouldn't want her.. sad eyes.. she was so beautiful...
she was so starved that when they got her back to the states, she ate with both hands...
we just love her... she's 10 now..

I can't wait to see pictures...

God Bless your family

Finally getting a chance to check in - I see I'm going to have lots of good stuff to read to catch up! How did you find me?
Praying daily for our children as we wait (im)patiently. Trying to keep a cheerful attitude as we approach our 1-year mark (our LID is 8/14/06)...
