Last Sunday, Michael and I met our small group from church at a Japanese Steakhouse for our Christmas dinner and participated in a White Elephant exchange. You pick numbers and go in order to randomly pick gifts. The fun part is that you can exchange your gift with someone who has already chosen one. Anyway, when it got to my turn, a little elf told me to pick the striped bag. So, I did and I knew immediately what it was. Our wonderful small group (whom we have only known for a few months) gave us some wonderful quilt squares to add to our collection. I have never spoken about the quilt, they got the info from this blog and the info I provided in our Christmas card. Many of you know I cry easy and this was no exception. The embroidered her name on the squares and the wishes were just so personal. This was a wonderful surprise.!!
Check out the pics below! Thanks friends! You guys rock!
