Monday Meditations

Adoption rocks! We do not even have LynnMarie home and this thing called adoption has drastically changed my life. I've witnessed God's love all around me for that I am thankful.
This week, I pray that God continue to give all of us a sense of peace. We decided to adopt to start a family but man, I have gotten so much more than that. I do not mean to sound simple or a bit cheesy but most of the time its really hard to put into words how my heart feels. What are you praying about? I want to know. I want to pray for you. I am sooo enjoying this. I want my heart to be a praying heart. I want to go to God for you. 5 years ago, I would have found this quite difficult and now I find so much energy and peace but having some real intimate conversations with our Father..

I do not have a list this week. Let's just talk to Him!

Please keep my Malia in your prayers this week. I am praying for a quick homestudy to be completed so that I can get the paperwork to China in time to secure my Malia. Praying that CCAI works through their waiting special needs families quickly as I know there are alot of babies out there waiting on parents. Hoping Lynn Marie comes home soon!

Amy,

Please keep my sister and her family in your prayers. Her daughter, 4 mo old and waiting in Vietnam for her has pneumonia and is in the hospital on a ventilator. It does not look good...

But we know God can touch this little one. My sister feels so helpless.

Thanks!

I understand exactly what you mean about adoption. We're just a couple months ahead of you and we have been so changed by it. I know it's from God because I see His hand in all of it already.

You are such an inspiration, I am so glad we have become friends.

This week, and probably many weeks to come, I am praying for my husband. He is going through some changes right now and needs clarity. Please add Jason to your prayer list.
