The 2nd Book

Today was the 23rd of May, the 1st monthly anniversary of our LID. We had an impromptu date afternoon going to see "Lucky You" at the movie theater and to Barnes & Noble to pick our second special baby book. From the author that brought us I love you like Crazy Cakes....

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I have saved yours too and will chek in. I LOVE THIS BOOK!! I saw it at the book fair at my son's school a few months ago and had to have it (in case you can;t tell form my post about pink shoes--I am an impulse buyer, haha!!). I love this book (I'm a little crazy with children's books though - I have SO many) - so it's hard for me to pick a favorite book.

Another book I love is called, 'The Three Names of Me' by Mary Cummings and illustrated by Lin Wang - also about a little girl adopted from China. I inadvertently ordered it twice - so I am giving one to a little girl (she's almost 4) who was adopted from China when she was 3.

(Hey! I just realized your LID is on the 23rd of a month just like ours!)
