Adoption is emotional

I have never rejoiced for other people like I have done since we started this process. I am just thrilled, really thrilled for my friends getting babies and other good news. Laney is with her family and Sheridan and Shelby are hopefully right around the corner.

I love to imagine the moment when our baby is place in our arms. Im sure pregnant families feel the same way.

Oh, our wait will be long, but it will be worth it. I hope our little Lynn Marie will touch many lives. I hope in the process we do to. We have experienced more since last October than we did our first 5 years together. Its just been awesome!

Whats next?
More waiting ( I know that the obvious answer)
Many First Fridays ( an awesome time of encouraging other adopting families)
Continue working on our quilt
eventually start the nursery

I'm so sorry that the wait is so long. I will be praying with you that the time shortens and goes by swiftly! And that God will be preparing your little one's heart to see her Mommy and Daddy for the first time. Your blog is on my favorite's list, and I love the changes.

When you get your little Lynn Marie, you will soon forget the long wait. When we got S.G. I would sit up in her room with her and remember the many times I looked into an empty crib, and thumbed through the clothes hanging in her closet. Then one day I had her. Now it's been 3 1/2 years.

It's a crazy roller coaster of emotions. One day you're ok, the next you're ready to go nuts.

Amy,
You are so right about the emotional aspect. Even though we are still waiting throughout this journey we have learned alot, met fabulous friends (both in person on via computer), and tried to treasure each day. I definitely get alot of joy in sharing this incredible experience with others.

PS I would love to send you a quilt square. please email me prkimberlin@prodigy.net with your details.
