Its cool to have a name. I mentioned to some that I wanted to keep this blog uplifting, joyful and encouraging. I want to be careful with what negativity is on here. I do not want to sugarcoat anything and want this to be as honest as we can.

We are so thankful for the personal emails and posts from today..

We are still a long way to preparing Lynn's homecoming but we are getting ready!!!! Yipee~

Congrats on picking out a name. I know how hard that can be. I am sorry that the occasion was somewhat "tainted" (for lack of a better word) but just from reading your posts I know you guys will make great parents and Lynn is going to be one very lucky little girl!!

Hi Amy! I just love the name! It is truly beautiful as I know your daughter will be!

Isn't it hard to decide on a name that will be with them forever lol! I knew the minute, I heard the name "Francesca" while watching "Under The Tuscan Sun" that it was going to be our daughter's name. In the case of daughter #2, my hubby had his pick on that one (Janelle aka Janie).

OK...so when are you going to post it to the group's site? I am so sure everyone is waiting to hear....

Sincerely,
Shelly

Yep, my daughter has had her name for ages. I can't imagine who should would be in my head without her name.

Lynn is going to be one happy girl.

Oh Amy, how exciting to have this special place to record your journey to Lynn! I can't wait to read more. :)

Please keep in touch, okay? I'll be sharing our experiences with trying to adopt through the state.

Beautiful name - and no, I'm not biased! I like the thought that went into it and the connections to your families.

Big step isn't it? We haven't picked out a first name yet but we do have a middle name picked out only because we wanted our DD Jac to pic it for us and she choose Callie.
I hate my first name which is Debbie, it's just so plain and boring so I make all my family and friends call me by my first and middle name because it really soffens my name and gives it a lift so great choice!! My middle name is Lynn, doesn't Debbie-Lynn sound so much nicer?

It's a hard balance emotionally. Each decision you make solidifies her in your heart and soul and makes the wait harder, but each decision also makes you her parents and her your child.

I love that name, Lynn! It was so carefully chosen! It is special because although Lynn is used a lot as a middle name, you barely ever hear it used as a first name!

I love it! Beautiful name. We are having the hardest time picking a name for our next one. We are very sentimental about using family names as well, so we have a few in the works. My hubby is not in a hurry....driving me crazy.
